Social Committee Changes – The Board has decided to send cards to members who have a death in their immediate family or a serious illness. We will no longer send or deliver flowers. This change is due to the expense and time needed by Social Committee members to fulfill their duties.

Deb also requested that the Birthday Celebrations need to have a person in charge for the quarterly parties.  We want to encourage the celebrations to continue, but in the past there have been times when a few of the birthday ladies end up buying more wine than others.  A leader would contact all birthday people and decide who want to participate in buying the wine and decide if the total bill will be divided evenly by all or each buy one bottle.   One bottle per person was suggested for the voluntary donation.  Some people may bring cake or cookies.
