GENERAL MEETING
December 8, 2020

• Minutes from the last meeting approved as posted.

• Proposed budget for 2021 is attached, not discussed at general meeting.

• Better Ball of Partners winners were announced as follows:  Over the Field Gross - Turco/Gallagher (161), Over the Field Net - LeBlanc/Thielen (138), First place Gross - Everett/Coates (171) and First place Net - Cramer/Downes (139).

• We will continue to have monthly desk people.  Pat has already handed out the sign up sheet and is happy to announce that every month is now covered.  Those working the desk are welcome to bring a helper.  Without a website, you will be requested to email the desk person or Sumerlee H. if you would like to play each week.

• Jane needs to confirm that all of us have an email address that is not shared with a spouse as it will become our way of accessing our GHIN handicap account.

• Payments have been passed out for all winners in the events of 2020.

• SB&R has posted their first event of 2021 at Yucaipa on January 28th.  Signup by January 8th and get money into Berta.  Cost for play is $45.00.

• We ended up on the patio with pizza.  Everyone gave a shout out to Linda who adapted to the last minute changes and still gave us a really nice Christmas party.

• The web site will be shutting down by the end of the year.  Tee times or participation in tournaments will be done via email going forward. 

• Awards/BB of Partners:  reported above under VP/Major Tournaments.
• Awards/Most Improved Player:  Karen Brauer was named as most improved player for 2020.
• Monthly desk duty signups:  reported above under Weekly Tournaments.

• Installation 2021 Slate of Officers:  Karen Brauer presented the Slate of Officers for 2021:  President - Janett Downes, Weekly games - Sumerlee Hodgson, Treasurer/Secretary - Rosa Castillo-Fowler and Membership/Handicap - Judy Turco.
