| July 28 (Sun) 8:30 AM- July 28 Away Los Verdes Golf and Country Club Sign-up Online Format: LowGross/LowNet at Los Verdes Golf and Country Club JULY 28TH HOME TOURNAMENT DETAILS: This tournament is full at 32 players. Please do not sign up if your name is not on the list already. I have to have a max of 33 players so that we can have the pay online option open. The July Away tournament will be held at Los Verdes Golf Course. The address is 7000 W. Los Verdes Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. The cost of this tournament is $105. This includes green fee, cart fee, and prize fund. Tee times start at 8:30AM. Right now we have a maximum of 24 players. However, if there is more interest in playing we can increase the number to 28 or possibly 32. Please sign up early so we can know whether to adjust the number of players or not. We will play from the white tees. The course is a par 71 measuring 6,234 yards. In addition, we will continue the $20 blind draw as an optional game. **To participate in the Low Gross, Low Net, and Skins, the $105.00 Away Tournament fee must be paid with credit card using the tournament "Sign-up Online" link or via Venmo to @LaMirada-MensGolfClub. | August 11 (Sun) 7:03 AM- Aug 11th, 2024 Home Tournament + President's Cup Sign-up Online Format: LowGross/LowNet at La Mirada Golf Course AUGUST 11TH HOME TOURNAMENT DETAILS: $67.00 will be collected at the Pro Shop for each player's green fee plus cart fee. If you are walking, the cost is $50.50. Tee times start at 7:03AM. President's Cup Final 4 Matches Tee Off First. Best ball (also known as four-ball in the Ryder Cup) involves 2-person teams where each player on the team plays his own golf ball throughout the round. After each hole the player with the lowest score on the hole (or “best ball”) out of the 2-person team serves as the teams score. The higher scoring players score is thrown out for that particular hole. Best ball format allows players to play their own game (since players keep track of their own scores), while also allowing them to take advantage of their partner playing especially well on holes. Each player may be on up to 3 teams. Cost: $40 per team ($20 each player) Payout: 1st = 50%, 2nd = 30%, 3rd = 20% Payments on Venmo please use “2-ball and include your name and partners name” in the memo.
