 Sunday August 23rd, 2026 Rio Hondo Golf Club. Tee times start at 9:56am. The cost is $130 and includes the green fee, cart fee, and the prize fund. There are 52 spots, so sign up early. Rio Hondo is a popular tournament and will fill up fast. There is a driving range to warm up on. Range balls are not included in the tournament fee. They also have a putting green to practice on. Sign up now and join the fun!

**To participate in the Prize Fund with Low Gross, Low Net, Skins, and Closest To Pin on Par 3's, please pay the $130.00 Tournament fee with credit card using the tournament "Sign-up Online" link, Venmo, or via Zelle to LaMiradaMensGolfClub@gmail.com before the day of the tournament.** 

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH INDIVIDUAL COURSE CONTRACTS. IF LMMGC HAS ALREADY PAID FOR YOUR SPOT, YOU WILL BE ASSESSED A “NO SHOW” FEE. THE AMOUNT WILL BE WHATEVER LMMGC IS CHARGED BY THE COURSE.  IF YOU ARE FORCED TO CANCEL AT THE LAST MINUTE, YOU CAN SEND A NON MEMBER IN YOUR PLACE.

2026 La Mirada Club Championship Tournament Details:

Dates: 9/13/26, 10/4/26, 11/1/26 & 11/8/26

Entry Fee: $50.00

Payment: Pay $50.00 online with Credit Card (1st Option) or via Zelle to LaMiradaMensGolfClub@gmail.com (2nd Option) or Venmo to @LaMirada-MensGolfClub (Last Option).

Rounds: 3 Rounds out of the 4 dates will count. All players must play the Final Round on 11/8/26. Players who are available to play all 4 dates will count their 2 best round scores out of the first 3 dates, 9/13, 10/4, and 11/1, before the Final Round on 11/8. Players who can only play 2 of the first 3 dates will count their 2 rounds before the Final Round on 11/8.

Eligibility: You must be a full member in good standing. Players must have participated in a minimum of six (6) LMMGC events from January 2026 to September 13, 2026 for the current year. New members who joined within the last six (6) months (March) can qualify for the 2026 Club Championship if they have played in a minimum of three (3) LMMGC tournaments, including the September 13th Home Tournament & Round 1 of the Club Championship.

Handicaps: All participants will use their USGA GHIN Low Handicap Index.  Participants must have an established handicap since May of the current year (2026).

Format: We will have five (5) winners!  The Overall Low Gross and Overall Low Net scores will win $500.00 each.  We will also have three (3) Low Net Score winners (Flight A, B, C), which will win $300.00 each.  All Gross and Net score winners will receive Championship trophies.

SEPTEMBER 13TH HOME TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
$69.50 will be collected at the Pro Shop for each player's green fee plus cart fee. If you are walking, the cost is $52.00.  Tee times start at 7:06AM. Show up early before your tee time!  We now must confirm our total number of tee times with La Mirada Golf Course 10 days in advance of play so sign up early or you may miss out!

Format: Individual Low Gross & Low Net, Skins, Closest To Hole on Par 3's, and Longest Putt on hole 18 for players with a SCGA handicap participating in the prize fund.

Tees: Blue tees for all players. 

Prize Fund Entry Fee: $35.00

Payment Remittance: The $35.00 Home Tournament prize fund must be paid with Credit Card using the Tournament "Sign-Up Online" link or via Zelle to LaMiradaMensGolfClub@gmail.com or Venmo to @LaMirada-MensGolfClub (last 4-digits of the phone number if prompted by Venmo are 4231).

Bunker Rule: When in the bunker, place the ball in the sand in a similar lie condition (within a scorecard length) after lift, rake, and replace. Full relief from standing water applies throughout the course and the ball should be placed in the same cut of grass, meaning rough must stay in rough!
