Notwithstanding, you are required to report to the 1st tee ambassador at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled tee time. MODIFIED ECLECTIC SCORING: Upon completion of Round 1, please choose SIX (6) holes to PROTECT for the Eclectic Scorecard and SELECT the next SIX (6) holes to record from Round 2 for the Eclectic Scorecard. The remaining SIX (6) holes are left OPEN to take the best score from either day. Winners will be determined based on the results of your eclectic scorecard against the competition in your flight.

COMPLETING SCORECARDS: Please exchange your scorecard with another golfer in the same group. Record the gross score for each hole of the other player on their official scorecard and sign as Scorer. You are required to attest and date your own scorecard accordingly. Prior to submitting your scorecard to the Tournament Committee, please complete the following steps:

1. Total and circle the gross score
2. Subtract the handicap strokes and circle the net score
3. Post your gross (or adjusted) score in the SCGA computer located in the Pro Shop
4. Designate in any box below the 6 individual hole scores you choose to PROTECT with a "P"
5. Designate in any box below the 6 individual hole scores you choose to SELECT with an "S"
6. Submit your scorecard to the Tournament Committee in the Rancho Park Garden Restaurant bar
7. To avoid disqualification, you have 15 minutes from completing your round to submit your card
8. Failure to PROTECT six and SELECT six scores after Round 1 will result in disqualification

NOTE: Anyone not posting their score or not returning their scorecards to the tournament officials will regretably be disqualified.

LOCAL RULES REVISTED: Please read the LOCAL RULES prior to play. There is a special drop area on left fairway of hole #1. Should your ball come to rest between the boundary perimeter fence and protective fence not having crossed out of bounds, the ball is deemed unplayable and must be dropped, with one stroke penalty at the designated ball drop area. All perimeter fences are out of bounds such as left of hole #2 and the maintenance yard between #15 and #17 fairways.

PACE OF PLAY: Please target a 4-hour round and keep pushing the group in front. If you fall behind half a hole, play "READY GOLF" to get back in position by the next hole. Please review our Pace of Play Guidelines to ensure you make the round of golf enjoyable for all the golfers playing behind you. Do not overlook the use of a provisional ball if an errant shot is doubtful in play.

CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION: All rules of stroke play competition are governed under USGA Rules of Golf. Detailed information regarding such conditions of play is available in "Decisions on the Rules of Golf" under Rule 33-1.

SETTLING TIES: Tie gross and net scores will be decided under USGA Rule 33-6 of matching cards on the basis of the best respective score for the last nine holes. If the tied players have the same score for the last nine, we will determine the winner on the basis of the last six holes, last three holes and finally the 18th hole. If a tie remains, the prizes will be pooled together and divided evenly. Individual rounds will be determined using the individual round scorecard and final results will be determined using the Modified Eclectic scorecard.

PRIZES: Individual bonus prizes will be awarded to the players in Round 1 and Round 2 with the lowest gross score and the lowest net score in each flight. A player who wins a low gross score prize is not eligible to win the low net prize.

Grand prizes for two-day overall low gross and overall low net modified eclectic scores after second round will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each of the three flights. A player who wins a low gross score prize is not eligible to win the low net prize.
