BILLY BRAGG MEMORIAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR (POTY) AWARD
This prestigious award is given in honor of one of T2GGC's founding members, Billy Bragg. Billy was very instrumental in leading T2GGC in the early days and fostering the current T2GGC motto of, "cussing, gambling and drinking is not only allowed... it's encouraged!". While Billy is no longer physically with us, his undeniable love of golf and spirit for the game lives on forever within T2GGC. The POTY competition is based upon a player's net finish in each tournament, using the following point system: 12 points for 1st, 10 points for 2nd, 8 points for 3rd, 6 points for 4th, 4 points for 5th, 2 points for 6th, and 1 point for all others. In addition, 2 points are awarded to the player with the "Lowest Gross Score" for each tournament and 1 point is awarded for each "Closest To The Pin" winner. In the event that two or more members tie in the final POTY standings, there will be an 18-hole playoff in the first tournament of the following year to determine the POTY winner and recepient of the coveted Billy Bragg Memorial Player Of The Year Trophy.
