Keep it simple:
- Sign up and pay well in advance of any deadlines.
- For tournament registration you may usually add three other names. If the event is for two-man teams, you may add one other name at registration.
- Please respond as needed to any emails or blasts from board members.
- Be sure to double-check your tee time prior to the event.
- Observe the adopt-a-hole scheme to improve conditions for all.
- Play ready golf and keep up with the group in front of you.
- Unless told otherwise, do not post since the tournament committee will post the scores.

Puddle conditions and temporary water in bunkers:
With our typical damp course conditions encountered at The Wood in the mornings, l bring to your attention Rule 16. You might want to review the case of abnormal course conditions in bunkers. Observe diagram 16.1c. This rule applies any time of year on any course since it is part of the Rules of Golf.

If you forget which holes are assigned to you, just choose two holes to adopt and improve the general conditions by repairing ball marks on the green and ensure bunkers are raked to a smooth condition.

If I drop out at the last minute, can I apply my fees to the next tournament?
When we finalize the tee sheet by noon on the Tuesday before the tournament, that is our number of green fees owed and LMGC is responsible for payment. Drop out before then to be eligible for club credit.
